A weekend treat to yourself!
Immerse yourself in Mid Argyll's beautiful & inspriational surroundings, whilst being creative in a relaxing space. Starting with coffee/tea & cake when you arrive at about 10.00, the workshops begin with a freestyle painting session with mixed media artist Alexander Hamilton. After dinner there will be a chance for you to relax around the fire and get to know each other. After breakfast on Saturday morning we will go for a walk maybe along the canal, on a nearby beach, or through woodland. Which ever takes your fancy. Gathering pictures, both 'mental' and physical, leaves, shells, & driftwood for use in the afternoon. Returning for coffee and cake we'll look at ways of using your finds in a creative manner alongside fabrics, threads, & paints. After lunch we will continue to develop the mornings work, maybe adding a couple of hours making felt to the mix. Dinner will be back at the cottage and a relaxing evening with a visit to the local pub if wished. Sunday morning will be completing your projects, a chance for a final walk or visit to a local site of interest, finishing with coffee and cake just before you start to wend your way homewards. |
