Day long workshops on a variety of subjects including:
~ Upcycle and update a lampshade
~ Artshade - Paint & stitch your own unique lampshade
~ Wet felt making
~ A capacious and many pocketed messenger bag from a pair of trousers
~ A stylish hat from tweed, denim or cotton
~ A unique Advent calendar & ideas for making some of the contents
~ Three bags in one day - A zipped wash bag, a drawstring toy or laundry bag, and a long handled bookbag
~ A pair of cosy pyjama trousers
A relaxed day with the opportunity to create a unique item in calm surroundings & learn a new skill. No experience needed. We use a lot of recycled and remnant fabrics but you are welcome to bring your own choice of fabric.
Morning coffee with homemade biscuits, and afternoon tea and cake will help to fuel your creativity! Please bring a packed lunch.
I have plenty of sewing machines of various makes and vintages but do bring your own machine if you'd like to.
